Anyone using this setup with a Bluetooth connection? Recently upgraded from a Carlson surveyor to a surveyor2 and connect get the password for the Bluetooth to recognize it. On the old DC I used 1111. Any help with this is much appreciated.

I don't know the surveyor 2, but if you exit to Windows and set up a new Bluetooth partnership under wireless connections (I think) or bluetooth connections you may have better luck than doing it in the survey software. It asks for password there. Then go into survey software and create a new instrument. It should be listed as a known partnership.
Or, you can delete the 1111 password in the gun (probably not the best idea). Go under menu a few times and find bluetooth and RS32 connection options. One says bluetooth password from memory. I've had some quirks with the 3005 and various data collectors. Some try to connect multiple times.

Thanks a lot. Just setup a new connection in windows and it worked fine. Something about the survey software I guess.
