Hi Gents, would appreciate help on setting my system up to survey directly from the base for 12 hours, this is to get readings and convert from Clark 1880 to WGS84.

Using Triumph-1 and Carlson Surveyor
Appreciate any help

What datum? Which Clarke 1880? RGS? IGN? That is, what country? Most existing transformations that I know are not going to be that good. How much accuracy are shooting for? You may need to generate your own transformation if you can get access to control points in both systems.

I can tell you what you want... not how to get there.

You want to set the recording interval to 30". This may need to be done with a pc, or maybe doable with the carlson dc. I don't know.

I suspect there are 2 buttons on the reciever. One is power, the other turns on the data record.

You are going to opus or something of the like, the raw data file, as well as getting the data in that other projection you mentioned.

Be sure you have your HI, where you set for this 12 hrs.
