Has anyone here tried a Windows Mobile emulator on Android to try to get SurvCE running on the device? An example of an emulator:

If I had the time I would have already tried it myself but numerous hard deadlines have me working 80 hours a week and no extra time at all.
If this works it would be great!
If someone could program a quality Android surveying application that can connect to a variety of total stations it would change a lot of things...If we could sync files directly to our dropbox over cellular data it would be great. We could get real time images, data, send information in real time to the crew in the field as simply as saving a file, etc.
I know this already exists on some level but they are all propitiatory, if the DC is based on and saving to an open system (Android)...the options for data exchange and for increasing productivity are endless.

I would like to install survce version 6 in a Tsc5 Trimble data collector that has android 10.
Is it possible somehow?
I work with Trimble access 2021 with gps module only.
If i buy trimble survey module for total stations it will be possible to work with Leica total station ts02 and cable conection??ÿ
Anyone please?
Regarding the first question - Pretty sure no - someone would have done it by now if it was possible. You are trying to run a windows mobile program on Android.
Carlson do have an Android program, Carlson Layout, you could investigate.
Regarding the second question - maybe - there have been a few postings about running Leica's on Access recently, like this one. You could search or google for the others. 350 Rocket Mike may chime in. Seems it can work but with limited functionality

I believe access only listed older Leica TS. It will run my Leica 1200 robot but won't work robotically so I didn't even bother to test it any further. This 12 year old robot was the newest one listed in the options.?ÿ
My best suggestion would be to get a cheap used Panasonic fz-m1 on eBay to run Carlson.?ÿ
- @350rocketmike my problem is to export gps data from my Trimble r12 in order to use them as a back sight to a total station program like Survce as I am familiar with this!
I did get Trimble access 2021 on the tsc5 running the Leica 1203+ robotically. The only issue I found for the couple hours I used it was the joystick was semi unresponsive and the search was just as broken as it is on the Trimble s5 (except gps search when it works).?ÿ
These won't affect you with a conventional TS but I'm not sure about compatibility with the newer Leica conventional.?ÿ

Why not just get the General Survey module and use Access? No need to export to a totally different program...if you are comfortable with Access for GNSS, you'll be just fine using Access for total stations. It's the exact same interface.
@rover83 It??s simple! Survce map has too much things to do like pick up polo lines by hand create easily points it??s like a cad system in the other hand Trimble access cad program is a bullshit.

I've used both SurvCE and Access extensively. If you think Access is inferior to SurvCE on the COGO side, you're not very familiar with Access.
