That's right, a TTM file from TBC.

> I used Civil 3D and SCS900. When I need to put a surface into the controller I first export a LandXML file from Civil 3D then import that into Trible Business Center. I then export it from TBC to a file folder with my name of choice. It can then be loaded into the controller using hard-wire or USB.....so if you can get to this point you'll be able to give the file to the end-user.

I have successfully created a TTM file from TBC HCE edition. However, our contractor friends can't seem to figure out how to make it work as a surface on their end. Basically they don't know how to use this file.

I know nothing of the SCS900 or its interface. Could someone tell me where they should be placing this file in the SCS900 to allow it to work as a surface.

We are at our wits end trying to help them out with this issue.

BTW, i have uploaded the TTM file successfully to our trimble TSC2 loggers and also reimported it into TBC and everything looks good on our end.

make a folder called "whatever" and out it in there.copy the folder onto a thumb drive

put the thumb drive into the controller then go to windows explorer. navigate to the thumb drive and copy the folder then go to start-programs-file explorer-my device- trimble scs900 data-whatever their site is- designs. paste the folder in there.

open up scs900 start a new work order, chose the site and chose the design that is named whatever you namerd the folder and they should be up and running.

If they have the software they should have the scs data manager office software. You probably do to if you downloaded TBC. It makers syncing it in a snap.

also, if you have a dxf or a csv you put it in the same "design" folder. Then they will be able toextract elevations on their lines from the surface.

They have our file on their SCS900. I will relay the message and see what happens.

Thank you!
