Wayne Griffin might. I hope he sees this.

As I remember it, it has quite the statement on it about the knowledge of structural engineers over surveyors doesn't it?

That cert was amazing! Not only did he declare civil engineers to be stupid and surveyors functionally useless, if I recall, his information and boundary wasn't even correct! I remember trying to do some work with that map, it was horrible! I wish I could remember the book/page...

You mean this one?

Good thing that guy is in the class of the "most educated civil engineers". Of course, he must have been absent they day they discussed the idea of spell checking your maps.

"Reginstered"? Really?

Insert Homer Simpson "D'oh" sound here.

FYI, for those wondering what became of this, the guy voluntarily surrendered his license.

Oh dear God....if you ask me he's retarded no matter how much education he has and unfortunately I see a lot of that.

Hmm, Maricopa County. Why does that sound familiar??:-)

On a slight hijack, what happened to the Surveyor that use to post on the other board who ran for office in Arizona? He had some interesting viewpoints.

Yes the map is recorded. I use that image in my "7 Deadly Sins of Surveying" class. Wouldn't use it if it wasn't a matter of public record.
