I read your post where you detailed building a battery system into a pelican case. Where did you obtain the mil-spec connectors and more importantly the dust cover?

I got them from a local electronics supply store (Shields Electronics) but I believe that a Google search for "milspec connectors" will turn up multiple suppliers.
For what it's worth, I've found that the threaded milspec connectors are a pain when setting up compared to the lemo quick disconnects that Trimble uses. I will eventually take the time to order a few of the lemo plugs and sockets and retro fit my cases.
Thanks for the quick reply Stephen. I did do a search and found lots of suppliers but I've yet to find the dust cover. I've thought about the lemo's too but they're pretty pricey. I've also heard that they need special tools to put them together. Maybe it's time to order one and see how it all works.

Here's a Link to a company that has them. The dust caps are on the accessory link in the middle of the page. Most of my parts came in unmarked bags so I don't know the part numbers, but the internal connectors are marked "148-9PF" for the male & "148-9SF" for the female. The dust cover is marked "Amphenol Aerospace 97-60-14".
Mouser Electronics is a great source for connectors, including MIL-C-5015 and Lemo. They'll sell you 1 or 1000, and their prices are reasonable.
Thanks for links gentleman. I've ordered audio project related parts from Mouser in the past with good results so I might give them a whirl.
