Human beings of all types can be hazardous while working in the field. First, they are a distraction. Second, they are prone to be argumentative unless you agree with everything they have to say, even if it's just whether or not it is a nice day. They will tell you "that dog don't bite" when it does.....often. They will try to get you to toss in a corner or two for them "since you're here anyway". They will talk to you for fifteen minutes then get in their car to back out of the driveway (directly thru your setup) and swear they forgot you were there. They will tell you the neighbor won't care a bit if you trim that bush that is giving you a problem. They will offer you a drink of homebrew that would remove all the varnish from a 200 year-old chest of drawers. They will lead you to a spot where they "know" they saw a surveyor set a stake of some sort a number of years earlier, at which point you will NEVER find anything but trash.
