I'm looking for some sort of small digital camera that I could mount on a Wild theodolite to display the angle reading window through a computer and onto a screen for instructional purposes.

Any suggestions?

I know I'd have to fabricate some sort of a mount / holder, but I think that will be simple.

Thanks

Dave

Dave,

A several years ago, Troy Deaton, formerly with Hayes Instruments, had such a device. He had a total station set up, and somehow connected to a projector showing the image on a projector screen.

His new company is called Deaton's Geotronics.

Deaton Geotronics

He can probably tell you what you need.

I'm sure those brothers know what they are doing, but their site could use some massaging in the editing/grammar/spelling departments.

You might look at a wireless pinhole camera

Thanks for the comments and I did get in touch with Troy. We'll see what I can work out.
