As a survivor of RMSF (rickettsia) from a tick bite I can tell you it's nothing with which to fool around.?ÿ Researchers have discovered over the last ten years an increase in the numbers of infected ticks.?ÿ At one time only about 5% of collected ticks indicated bacterial infection.?ÿ The number is much higher nowadays.?ÿ Some estimate that over 30% of ticks are carrying some sort of significant pathogen.
Adjust your exposure accordingly.
PS - Keep that crap down in FL.?ÿ 😉
