Sent a crew out this AM to finish up a project. Wound up blowing a tire (70 miles from nowhere) with a bois d'arc needle (?!). Limped the Grey Ghost back to town on a baldy and put 4 new Michelin$ on it (+ some alignment work)...

win some, lose some..

Reminds me of the day I got caught too far from the survey chariot in a driving rain. Repairs to the total station were more than I got paid for the entire job.

Sorry to hear you got the stone, guess I got the diamonds yesterday. When I pulled in the clients driveway to collect my fee, he told his wife how hard my son and I worked (he was trying to help us brush line the first half of the day). Then he paid me an extra $500.00 an told me to share with the kid. I had told him earlier that my son was working to earn some nails for the cabin he was building.
Yes, we got a tip for surveying. WOW.

The young lady at the wrecker service thought it was a joke and said "Who is this?"
