My network rover has been crap the past few days! I've occupied 4 control points a total of 5 times and can't get my positional accuracy below 0.15'. Morning and afternoon session are yielding as much as 0.25' difference in readings (3 minute sessions each). Back in the spring, I was consistently less than 0.05' on all control points for this same project.

Anyone else having issues?

I've noticed my horizontal and vertical residuals have been higher than usual a few times over the last few weeks or so. It has not been crippling, though.

I just assumed there's probably a 'bird' they're moving around..or one that's hiccuping or something. If it gets aggravating, I'll get on the 'net and see if there is a bad SV and tell the DC to ignore it.

I was having issues about two weeks ago, and a hard reset on my receivers fixed the problem.

Having said that, several posters here warned of the serious solar activity that we would be experiencing over the near future.

Good luck.

Here's a bit of a read:

Space Weather News for August 9, 2011
http://spaceweather.com

X-FLARE: This morning at 0805 UT, sunspot 1263 produced an X7-class solar flare--so far the most powerful flare of new Solar Cycle 24. The brunt of the explosion was not Earth directed. Even so, a minor solar proton storm is in progress around our planet, and the flare also created waves of ionization in Earth's upper atmosphere. Are you on the Nc VRS , I have noticed this year, elevations are not good. Report it because I am seeing the same thing down in the triad. Elevations have been worthless . I think its in the network but cannot prove it.
