My file has been in the queue since Friday at 1PM. Today's submission of a different file says there are currently 494 files waiting for OPUS.
I guess i broke it good?
Paul in PA
Me, mine said 500, and I uploaded about 20 minutes ago.
I got an OPUS-RS result timestamped 12/10/2010 3:37 p.m. (PST).
My Last OPUS-RS was 12/10 1:25 PM EST
I submitted 3 OPUS-RS files starting with a queue of 0, and then the OPUS-S which was 67 in the queue. I believe the computers assigned to OPUS-S were hung up and whatever was assigned to OPUS-RS were running OK. I have not resubmitted any OPUS-RS since I got results with rapid orbit finally after 3 days from observation. A day after I observed I got an OPUS-S back with the rapid orbit that had residuals more than twice my ultra-rapid solution after which I sent some questions to Richard Foote. I think it opened a can of worms. My ultra-rapid solutions were less than a millimeter from the rapid. Two of the OPUS-RS were the OPUS-S split in half. Since the OPUS-S was redundant I completed the project without it.

Still waiting.
CORS seems to have a one day latency on its data feeds. could they be related?
email below from Giovanni Sella (as you will see, he did not answer question 1):
Dear Mr. Glawe,
GAIT will return in the new year, we have equipment and IT issues that require a number of complicated changes. They will be completed at the beginning of the year.
Sorry for the long drawn out period for resolving these issues.

I can see that some static observations have been done, in my area, that were not there yesterday, so someone is getting a solution.
Now I can see that my observation was processed, but I have not received an email.
I just resubmitted my OPUS-RS file. Upon completion of the upload, OPUS shows 31 files in the queue.
31 In The Queue ?
Mine have not come. They nust have dumped the queue or the files are stuck in their email sender.

31 In The Queue ?
Mine has not come either, I can see that is was processed, in the "view" section, but the solution has not reached my email as of yet.
this just in from our CORS desk in Silver Spring...
Dear Edward,
You have found a bug, we solved one problem and created another! I'll speak to the developers.
Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience,
Giovanni

My Friday OPUS-S Was Sent At 12:40PM EST Today
3 days start to finish. It was processed at 8:58AM EST 12/13/2010 and took almost 4 hours to find it's way to the email out pile.
Something was boogered.

If you CAN'T do it yourself, and are at the mercy of someone's program that you have no control over, then maybe it ISN'T someone else's fault.
OPUS is one of the greatest inventions since beer, but if you are a REAL beer drinker, and you can't get it from the store, then maybe you should learn how to brew your own.

ngs is on the problem
as it says in the text of my prior email, ngs is in the process of repairing this one day latency problem. this issue was not by design
response from mr. Giovanni Sella
Dear Edward,
I have investigated this further, this is not a bug as I first guessed. UFCORS has never provided same day data via the web interface.
NGS will consider adding this option on a future version of UFCORS.
Since you are posting my responses to the surveyor forum. Please post this reply as well.
Thanks and let me know if you need anything else.

UFCORS is back to same day RINEX downloads!!!
just got a message from giovanni sella, from NGS. the CORS downloads are back to same day results. i need to hustle out to the field, can someone send an OPUS file in from this morning, verify the OPUS is same day again?
thanks again, mr. sella
UFCORS is back to same day RINEX downloads!!!
UFCORS and OPUS-S both seem to be back on the line. not sure about opus-rs, anyone have confirmation?
