Y'all started it and NOW we're getting a blizzard (grin).  Luckily I've got milk and bread.

Why does everyone want to make French toast before a blizzard?

That is an absolute, definite yes.?ÿ That is exceptionally true for professionals who are expected to run around in suit and tie-type styles year around.?ÿ Moving a ton of snow first thing in the morning should not be attempted in such attire if one is then going to spend most of the day in tight quarters with co-workers and clients.?ÿ Roll out early, throw on comfortable clothes, move the mountain, shower, dress appropriately, attempt to not break your neck as you try to stroll in slick-soled shoes on thin layers of snow, ice and slush, attempt to actually get to your place of work without becoming snowbound on the roads that are drifting closed as fast as the snowplows are breaking them open (Heaven help you if you do have mobility problems while dressed like a penguin), survive the slick parking lot and finally arrive fresh as a daisy in Spring to do whatever that desk job entails.?ÿ Repeat most of that for going to lunch or to meet elsewhere with others, then repeat again at end of the day.
