Caller: Hi.
Me: Helllloooo.
Caller: This is so and so from attorney so and so's office, We thought we could close with a letter of affidavit saying there was no changes to the poerty from 10 years ago....
Me:O.k.?
Caller: Turns out the lender won't take that, can you produce a new survey by Monday.
Me: Well, Not sure if I can, you know I did send out a contract about a six weeks ago, for completeing a new survey for the property, I never heard back.
Caller: We thought the price was to high.
Me: Well, if you want to close Monday it gonna cost more, since I have to work through the weekend.
Caller: I will discuss this with my client.
Me: O.k. Well please let me know by 5 p.m today.
Love it!!!

What is your weekend multiplier?
(And don't forget to bill for the call, the attorney will.)
They are calling everyone in the "book" right now.
I swear, I've had that exact same call before.
I love that - they need it right away, but still have the nads to complain about the price. They should be kissing your butt, but instead, are trying to talk you down - makes no sense at all.
If it's a local client, I might not change my proposed fee, depends on how well I know them, but, I will tell them that I need credit card billing information in order to schedule the work.
I've had them tell me, oh, sorry, we already put the closing docs together, can we mail you a check?? um, NO.
I would say that you did good.........:good:
Andy...
Egggscellent (in my best Mr. Burns voice) point.
I got the owner to give me his credit card info, used my square app on my Droid, and BAM! I'm paid! in FULL!!
They asked if they could pay me at closing...um that would be a firm NO.
Andy...
sweet! I really love that app. And my clients like it too.
