It was about 1975 when I was looking into the possibility of going to Texas A&M for additional schooling.?ÿ I remember clearly that the cost to Texas students was $4 per credit hour but non-Texas students were $40 per credit hour. That was too expensive for me.?ÿ Meanwhile, we paid by the semester.?ÿ Anywhere from 12 credit hours and up was $285 per semester.?ÿ That final semester I enrolled in 17 hours.?ÿ The four I had to have to graduate, nine for graduate credit and four more just for fun.
