anyone know of the date(s) of the latest quad sheets?

do they update them anymore?

we have scanned the quads in our county and i use them to locate control, roughly evaluate projects, rough design/planning etc., but they are very outdated and there is a lot of more recent info that may have been added since ours were produced.

Frank

It may not help, but I have something similar. I've downloaded all of the quads from tnris and re-projected them into my system. Then, just like a photo, I turn them on and off in my county master file so when I get into a new survey, I can see what, if any, monuments may be in the area, along with the new 10 photos (also available from tnris).

Lets you see the old, and the new all at once.

To my knowledge however, I understood that those where no longer updated and the late 70 early 80's were the last of the breed. I've never seen one in NAD 83, only the dashed lines at the projected NAD 83.

Frank,
Try Libre Map Project.
Open the *.fgd file in notepad and scroll down to the Source Citation and Publication Date. From what I understand, these are the latest of the 7.5' series.

Try Historical Quadsfor the entire collection.

Hope this helps,
DDSM

They were last updated around 1980... but the Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection
has great collection of maps:

including these newer "geopdf" format:
