We had one in Las Cruces(still there I'm not), and had the GIS and Utilities groups set up for success.
I miss the cross department collaboration with the Geospatial stuff I participated in for sure.

A non-trivial chunk of Big Data proponents don't get that geospatial data is still data, and that the geo part is more powerful yet takes a bit of additional work to get right.
