Does anybody have full chapters of B,C, and D from the BLM Casebook.
I was able to get partial chapters from here:
http://www.blm.gov/cadastral/casebook/casebook.htm
Thanks

http://www.cadastral.net/Casebook/BLM-CaseBook-A.pdf
http://www.cadastral.net/Casebook/BLM-CaseBook-B.pdf
http://www.cadastral.net/Casebook/BLM-CaseBook-c.pdf

Wow! A pdf of A History of the Rectangular Survey System. Thank you!
This has some pretty good discussion on the center of the section.
Yes, even the BLM held their nose and accepted the mathematically
incorrect existing center of the section during a retracement.
There are a few blatant examples like the 1973 & 2009 manual of
using astronomic North instead of North based on existing monuments
in the section.
The 1975 version of these case studies were updated.
