Or, if you live in Okieland, he'll ask you why you don't own either a watch or an iPhone. Most likely, he'll figure that building watches isn't in the cards given the aversion to keeping track of time when there are fixed prices to be quoted to callers.
So where do I pick up my 11 bucks?

I don't have time to quote my fixed prices to folks on the phone. I do however have an advertising agreement with a local Mandarin restaurant called the "Toa Mein" that delivers. They send their help around putting menus on folks' screen door handles. I've got my survey prices printed on the back of their menu. Everything from your simple mortgage survey up to a full blown ALTA...delivery guaranteed within 45 minutes. And with the ALTA you get egg rolls.

So, you only bid jobs via the internet, then? How much would you charge to untangle about 200 lbs. of string and measure the exact length at 20 lbs. tension supported throughout its length?
I am amazed at how well the monument shows up in the most recent Microsoft sidewalk view. What a wonderful research tool!

I think you'll find that the "Undo" function under the "Edit" tab in Photoshop will help solve many surveying problems such as the one you ask about. As for showing up in Google Street View, the aluminum washers are most likely more visible than brass once it has tarnished since the aluminum is more reflective.

😀 Wish there was an UNDO for surveying problems like that.
