@williwaw?ÿ

I'm lucky, I don't have this junk here much, a little of it, but it's minor.?ÿ

I do have a similar subdivision to what Loyal is describing and I have a big X drawn through it. There will be no one from my office working in that subdivision. Even if they do what I suggested years ago and form an HOA to get it "fixed" I will not be part of it. However, about 5 years ago I did do what Loyal sounds like he's doing and surveyed the north and east boundaries of it for a good client.

If Loyal steps across the boundary line and enters into the interior mess that's probably there,,,,,,I will be so disappointed with him,,,,,,,,STAY OUT OF THERE LOYAL!!!!!

He found the original monuments and rejected them? "because of math"?ÿ

Don't worry bout that ever happening. I have tied a few interior "corners" over the years in an attempt to identify the source of various monument "types" that I found along (or more accurately NEAR) the exterior boundary.

The primary PROBLEM with these subdivisions, is the [apparent] fact that he (the engineer/surveyor of the 1964/5 subdivision plat) didn't bother to perform even minimum research into what property the client actually OWNED, before he generated lots that extended into adjoining properties!?ÿ

@loyal?ÿ

Glad to hear it, stand your ground!!!!

I'm too old for that stuff, still kicking myself for my bad judgement a couple of weeks ago.?ÿ

I had a job with a 1995 job # and didn't finish it till 2010, and that was only after the county took over and forced it to be finished. Same thing, a cluster of pins, moved pins, buildings over lines, into streets, everyone fighting......

No thanks!!!

That note is confusing. Reject all pins due to mathematical ambiguities, fine, how do you stake your corners using the mathematical ambiguities?

My in-laws lived in a mountain subdivision. The front corners on the street are pretty good but it appears the Party Chief just pulled a 1/2ƒ? rebar out of the stake bag and shied it in the general direction of the rear corners, they were that random.
