The Pacific Crest PDL Rover radio for GPS/RTK has been stop receiving data, but if I toggle the radio on and off it will receive for a while. The PDL is the tube shape radios that are place on backpacks or gps poles.

Has anyone else ran into this with a solution or why it would do this.

Yes. It has low voltage. Batts may need replaced.

Batteries could be bad. But my unit does the same thing. I will take it out in the field and run all day. But if I put it in the vehicle or take it in the building, the radio stops receiving. I toggle the switch, and it starts back up and runs till I do the same thing again. Something internally. Been doing this for years!

I never have gotten around to it, as I found that keeping it charged, makes it happier, but I gotta get one next fall.

Cant offer an answer just my experience!
I have 2 of them and 2 chargers.

I do find when the battery gets low(ish) they get a bit titchy,(cranky)and RTK loses lock easily. I put that down to the radio.

I also find one of my chargers doesn't give it a full charge so that doesn't help either.

Can recommend Master Instruments - but this is in Australia.
The thing I gleaned from them was they use genuine Sanyo batteries and not some cheap imported junk that doesn't cut it for real work.

I'd be asking what batteries go into recelling before agreeing to 'any old' refit.

Scotland - Hijack

I was driving home this weekend and popped in a CD from one of my favorite musicians, Townes VanZandt, and heard a song that reminded me that I had seen the name of the song somewhere. After seeing your location I now know where. The song was "Snowing on Raton".

Yep... also have a movie about Raton Pass. Most people know about the Pass cause it seems to be a problem in the winter months. I always hear "I know Raton Pass, I got stuck cause the pass was closed."
