Assuming the repair they are working on is successful April is the earliest the bridge can open.

Because the affects of he required jacking to realign the bridge are not known, if the jacking does not work, whole sections or possibly the entire bridge would have to be reconstructed, which means years.

Without further details available I am assuming failures have occurred in designed moveable rockers which no longer rock. As I said before the cause of he fracture could easily be a support many sections away. It was such moveable? support failures that were the major cause of the I-35W failure years ago in Minneapolis.
