The only OPUS project I have been involved with so far was 2 years ago & was processed by others but it produced an 1988 ortho height (yippee):

Now we are attempting ourselves to do this for the first time.

I am pretty sure that we selected the GEOID 09:

But we get an error message for the ortho height referencing 2011 geiod trouble:

We are hoping to get an 1988 ortho height solution.

What are we doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Brad

The GEOID Model (GEOID11 ?) hasn't been released yet, and might still be a month (or more) down the road.

If you select the OLD NAD83(CORS96) frame in OPUS, you will get a NAVD88 estimate using GEOID09.

Yes, Loyal has it. When you start up OPUS it gives you the option of the new frame or the old one (that most of use). Pick the old one and you will get the geoid estimation. I run both now to compare our control around town and to build a spreadsheet to look at any variances.

Can't wait to see Geoid 12 but doubt we will see any improvement on mark to marks.

I'm not really happy about the dislaimer that says "Soon the old one will not be supplied". To soon for many who have not even had time to look at the new one and what changes will be in store for us.
