I've tried to process a bunch of static over the last few days, sometimes it goes through, and sometimes it gives me this error... any clues?
I'm going way back in the grey matter. I think Apache is a Linux server.
Looks like the server is timing out. Maybe?

Close. Apache is web server software, typically run on a *nix server.
The error message you're getting is on the server side, though I couldn't begin to guess what's causing it.
P.S. Apache is so named because it has been patched so many times, or so I was told by a grizzled Unix system administrator.
Unix. There go a couple of cobwebs.
Sun Microsystems... Have not heard the "patched up" theory but, I think that process is the foundation of modern computing, eh?
I had three customers call this morning with the same error. So it is not just you.
I believe that it happens when the servers are overloaded. Wait a couple of hours and try again.
