I need some information which some of you may know. I'm working on an adverse claim on a parcel which has, for want of a better term, pigtail iron posts. I have no idea when these may have become available but these are large diameter (1/2"-5/8") and could possibly have been army surplus, bought at auctions from Vancouver Barracks. I have see property fenced with bed rails, and tapered concrete posts from auctions they had after the Barracks slowed down active military procedures. As you can see by the tree, the fence has been up quite a while (I think it's gonna leave a mark).
I have seen this type of post a few times, but remember when or where.

Thanks. I thought as much, and they run for about a mile on through the second old growth timber. The job with the bed rails really confused me (which was fairly easy). I was surveying a 40 acre parcel in a brush patch and here were these bed rails about every 8' around the parcel. The elderly neighbor told me why and how the property owner got them at about $.05 apiece at an auction.
