Looks like FEMA has added more "information" to their maps... now I can't find what zone I'm in... :-S

I can see that a portion property is in Zone AE (EL 21.2) but what is the Zone outside of that? Nowhere on the entire map do I find any label other than the A's and AE's areas. No label of Zone X to be found. Best I can tell is that the remainder of the property appears to be in "other areas", either Zone X or Zone D, according to the legend.

Comments?

Check the notes under the watershed table in the
lower left.

I would go with X unless the area was labeled "Zone D". Zone D is very uncommon.

Zone X shaded or Zone X unshaded? Don't you just love it that FEMA has two different zones labeled with the same letter? Didn't FEMA realize that they still had some letters left that could be used or do you think that they printed the maps before they realized that they had used Zone X twice? No one but a government agency could get away with this.

On that map, X shaded appears to be shown as Black Dots in the hatch pattern, and A appears to be Blue Dots in the hatch pattern. So I'd say that lot mostly is X unshaded.

But yeah, of all the letters in the alphabet ...

They used to be "B" for X (shaded) and "C" for X (unshaded).
