How come it's the ones with the nightmare properties who always ask?

Come to me with a subdivision lot where I've seen bounds and rods sticking up as I drive by, sure, but that never happens.

Ain't that the way it goes??ÿ The only ones we get are the ones that need a surveyor.

I worked for an old PC years ago that always got aggravated when we couldn't find all the corners.?ÿ His mood would turn foul and he'd say something like "looks like we're going to have to get out an instrument..."

And then the infamous realty and mortgage websites that profess this ridiculous pile of steaming fly covered male bovine excrement:

How Much Does It Cost?

The cost of a land survey will vary by the size and complexity of the lot. In general, a survey will cost anywhere between $200-$1,000 but the price could always be more. Itƒ??s best to do thorough research and ask for recommendations before choosing your surveyor. To search for a surveyor by company ethics, education and more, start here.

The state boards should go after these websites to put an end to the misinformation and patently false data they are providing.
