Looks like we get to head out to the space center again to survey a couple areas for building expansions. Last time it was in front of the Launch Center just SE of the VAB and the last shuttle was getting prepped to head to the visitor center or the attractions. This time a utility building SW of the VAB, but we might have to set traverse on the "crawler" path. Using NGS points set in the early 60's that are still checking good, even with all that heavy equipment moving around throughout all these years. I'll post pics when they guys take pics. Not as good as Scott's pics of the WTC, but still some good American history....

Wonderful photos. Great memories.
Looking forward to the NASA photos too.
We have a great profession.
Next week I am woking on an "out of town" job 3 hours away and will be staying with my G-ma and G-pa. They have been married 65 years today.
Awesome!! I have many, many pics from my visits at KSFC.
Stay away from launch pad 34. Some say it's haunted. Never the less, I get chills just seeing pics of it.
Pad 34 was "abandoned in place" after the fire that killed Gus Grissom, Ed Chaffee and Roger White in 1967 during a live "plugs out" test firing for Apollo 1. I have their mission patch on the wall right next to the final Challenger mission patch. Just below those is my collection of every mission patch for all Challenger's flights.
I used to know one of crawler engineers but have long since lost contact with him.
