One that sticks out in my memory was a 6" or 8" sanitary line where they didn't bother to grout the knock-outs.

Then there's the rehabs where they may, or may not have, plugged the lower lines they abandoned. You really can't tell cause the MH is partially fos.

yes, 95%, do it all the time using strict procedures. Typical accuracies using local base and 3 or 4 constellations is 0.015 to 0.020 meters. H and V. As I said, we do a lot of leveling using invar rods, so I have a lot of data to compare.?ÿ

There are always a few outliers, but usually due to multipath issues. I try to avoid locations that are not open, but that is not always possible. In those cases we do more observations (i.e. 3 or 4 occupations instead of just 2).

Before you say I don't know what I am doing, I have been doing GPS since 1986. Which may not mean a lot but I also have a BSCE degree with a major in Geodesy.?ÿ

For the metric challenged that's 4-7 hundreths of a foot. I'll buy it.
