Sure do move fast, especially on them straightaways, and when they skip a station.
Glad we had a flag man to watch our backs...
The Acela was moving to...
Had to pound 36" rebar in between the railroad tracks to monitor movement when they start excavation for the new bridge abutments..lots of fun..

You are working for the RR but aren't in communication with their controllers? I'd have expected they would tell you when to be on and off the tracks.

Actually Bill the Flagman is in constant communication with their (metro-north) office...they have all the info.
