We have several boxes of old 5-1/4" floppy disks.
One day we happened to find out our I.T. chief has a 5-1/4" floppy disk drive in his office, brand new, still in the box.
I.T. installed it into an old Windows XP computer and it works. We found a pile of Maptech program disks, might have to try it out.
The disks contain CRD files, FLD files and AutoCAD drawing files.
CRD and FLD file extensions sound like Wildsoft format info.
The CRD files I am familiar with are from Carlson; it seems to me they are binary.
These files are text files. The CRD files are coordinate files in a comma delimited format. The FLD files look like angles and distances.
Copy and change them to .txt files. Import the txt files into cad. I used Maptech back when. Don't remember much about it. It would be good if you had field notes to go along. That way control points could be found. GPS them, and translate and rotate them in cad. GREAT find!
Dave,
Do you want manuals and disks for the Maptech SurveyPac? Gathering dust and occupying space that could be better utilized.

PacSoft also used CRD files. Maptech was a math checking program within PacSoft as late as 1998.
