I'm posting because other Maine PLS licensees may have forgotten,like I did, that our Board no longer mails out paper PLS renewal notices and your license likely expires Dec 31. There should be a notice in your e-mail which, like me, you may not have checked. You'll need to find it as it contains an access code you'll need in order to renew. Online renewal is relatively simple and quick.
A little off the subject but, how much does Maine charge for your LS each year?
Here in MA the fee is reasonable but I just got my Connecticut renewal notice and they want $285 for one year, ouch.
$275 every 2 years.
Yeah, that CT one always gets me too. I just don't see why it costs so much each year.
I'm thinking that general fund acct must be low.
I got my NY renewal recently too. Funny, my license doesn't expire till Apr 30 - what the hell, huh
