Anybody know of a magnetic declination calculator other than the one NOAA has that is not in service at this time?

If you're interested in historical declinations, I have the DOS program that the NGDC developed that gives essentially the same answers.
If you give a lat, long, and date range, I'd be glad to plug it in and post the results.
044-17-53.14 N
071-53-13.97 W
July 1966 to September 28, 2013
Thanks Kent. This is greatly appreciated.

Try one of the following:
Magnetic-Declination.com
I have no idea who the source of the first of these links is or the accuracy.
Thanks Dallas. The second one worked great. What did you get Kent? I got 1-01 difference with the Canadian site.

Unfortunately, the magnetic model in the USHD software is geared for historical declinations, so estimating the present declination is out of range. For what it's worth, though, here are the values that USHD returned within the range of dates it could handle:
[pre]
ESTIMATED VALUES OF MAGNETIC DECLINATION
--------------------------------------------------------
LAT: 44 DEG 18 MIN NORTH
LONG: 71 DEG 53 MIN WEST
CITY & STATE: Thomas Smith Project
-------------------------------------------------------
YEAR DECLINATION
1966 16 10 WEST
1970 16 7
1980 16 15
1990 16 19
2000 16 25
[/pre]
That is what I got with the Canadian site. Thanks for the help Kent. Made a good check.
Interesting that I found a NOAA web app that still works:
http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/grad/solcalc/azel.html
looks like their web pages are still active. Oops, maybe I shouldn't have said anything. NSA will see this (I know they are watching me) and pull the pages! :-O
Interesting, look at the note at the top of this page....

Please use the backup calculators at the following URL. They produce exactly the same results as the NOAA's official magnetic declination calculator.

Hmmm makes me wonder? Signed up today, one post, authoritative tone to the post. Hope your enjoying your free time!!
This is astronomical declination - not magnetic declination
Sorry that I missed the URL in my previous post. Here we go.
