This week I was searching for property corners in a subdivision, which was platted in 1958. I searched for, by occupation, and found most corners along one particular street. The plat shows the lots as being 90' wide, but after checking distances between found corners the widths were around 110'. I found some information about a particular parcel (SILVER STAR TERRACE W/133 THE W 45 FT OF LOT 43 & E 10 FT LOT 44) after doing some Internet research, and it made sense to me. I assume the county does not have to show lot splits on an updated plat.

The image on the left is from the Orange County Property Appraiser's website (Orange County, FL) interactive map. The other is from the aforementioned plat.
