Got this email today:

"Dear MIP Users,

Changes to the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Geographic Information System (GIS) services will cause National Flood Hazard Level (NFHL) data to freeze beginning April 24, 2013 and ending June 21, 2013. NFHL data ordered on DVDs from the MSC will not be updated in May or June. April data will remain available until the July data refresh.

For questions, please contact the FEMA Map Information eXchange (FMIX) by calling 1-877 FEMA MAP (1-877-336-2627).
Sincerely,

Outreach Team
Customer and Data Services (CDS)
FEMA Risk MAP"

First thing that popped in my mind was sequester.

Does this mean that the Map Service Center will work twice as slow as it does now (which is pretty darn slow already)?
