I did a 30 minute static observation on a traverse point.?ÿ I choose the 'OPUS-RS' tab, and when I went to upload the tps file OPUS said that my file was 'greater than two hours- transferring to OPUS-s'...which I know it wasn't.

Then I get the 'OPUS aborting ' email saying this:

FILE: 36_East OP1542636668497

?ÿ

?ÿ1015?ÿ?ÿ The RINEX data file that was submitted contained Glonass observables.

?ÿ1015?ÿ?ÿ Currently OPUS does not support datasets with Glonass data.?ÿ Please

?ÿ1015?ÿ?ÿ re-submit the dataset without the Glonass data. See line 1 of the

?ÿ1015?ÿ?ÿ RINEX version of your file to see if the constellation type is correct

?ÿ1015

my receiver is a topcon hiper GGD...recording every second, for 30 minutes.?ÿ

Anybody got any ideas on whats wrong?

?ÿ

Try stripping the GLN data out of the file and resubmitting.?ÿ If you're not comfortable with teqc or WinTeqc, I'm pretty sure that jps2rinwin will work if you change the .tps extension to .jps instead.

I submit rinex files containing glonass all the time. OPUS typically just ignores those observations since it doesn't use them. I'm more inclined to think there's nothing wrong with your file. Just wait a day or two and try submitting again. Unless the file is very noisy it should process,,, eventually.?ÿ?ÿ

Maybe the file has only glonass data??ÿ

Post the header

Here is the problem...if the first SV's tracked in the raw file were GLONASS or Galileo, the translator will put an R (GLONASS)?ÿ in the first line of the header, or an M (MIXED). Just change that to G (GPS). OPUS should ignore the other constellations. You can also use teqc to strip out the other sats (-R and -E).

One of the niceties of jps2rinwin is that it offers an option to convert for OPUS use (GPS-only, maybe also decimated to reduce file size, I don't remember) so the user doesn't have to use teqc.?ÿ If fact, it installs a right-click functionality that makes converting the files a one-touch process.

OPUS-RS always wants good clean data across the board. Quite often in the beginning of a file the C1/P1 and P2/C2 data may not be up to snuff. All values should be in the same range. Clear out the first minute or two of data and resubmit. Sometimes it is not your data but the nearby CORS that need to have the data massaged, thus it may be necessary to wait for that to happen. Open your RINEX file in WordPad and take a look.

Shoot it over, and I'll take a look at it.
