Property line dispute. Neighbor is trying to get the guy arrested for trespassing. Dueling surveyors coming soon. Fence companies and lawyers have been contacted, but someone blew leaves over the disputed property line tonight. Responding police officer declined to arrest. "The telephone pole is the property line!"

I once had the sheriff's deputies called on me when my lawn company employee drove down a property line with grass clippings blowing towards the neighboring property. I was rather surprised to meet the officers at the street. We saw the caller looking at us from the window and promised we would be more careful to keep the mowers facing in at all times. Privately the deputy told me he was sorry but had to respond to every call. We only missed 15 minutes or so of work-time, but gained a great new subject to make fun of and joke about.
