Hi All

After a couple of days (what better way to spend 'holidays'?) I am slowly making inroads with setting up a codetable on my Leica 1100.

I have a codetable that I set up years ago in Liscad that I can export from there as an .idx and then register in Leica GeoOffice (LGO). If I register as a BASIC 8 or 16 GSI, then the 1100 recognises and will use it. If I register as an ADVANCED 8 or 16 gsi it wont. Only thing is, when in LGO, I assume that if I want to string (connect points) then I need to set this up as an attribute. How do I do this, the only option for attribute for basic 8 or 16 gsi is text?

I hope this makes sense!

regards

Matt

Hello Matt,

Is there a problem with the attribute being text? As far as I'm aware this just means that the code cannot impose a restrictions like: only integer, or, only real number. If you wish to use string numbers you may enter them as text, no? Numbers are text too.
