Still working on my 1/4 corner [msg=140559]Issue[/msg]

I've collected more field data and need to analyze it- so not asking for opinions yet.

Here are some pics of the work.

Views and BMs near Charlo.

GLO/ Blm Info for the NE cor. Section 14, T26N, R33W

1905

Notes from 1984/ Approved 1991

BT from Sec 12

Survey buddy for the day.
Pretty good buddy, no barking and it didn't matter if he rubbed against the tripod leg.

A couple pics of mons from the hwy retracement.

the back half of this fell off while we were trying to shoot it.
the 1" iron pipe is probably the same vintage as the one found at my 1/4 corner position.

It's always helpful to find these.

this had a 1" pipe alongside it as well, but it was leaning out of the ground at about a 45^ angle. The wood is from an old marker. We found several wooden station markers also.

Some on here would think you were working on Mars. They can't even imagine that much open space.

What are those big lumpy things off in the distance in the first two photos? And what is that white stuff on top of them? Beach sand?
