Party Chief in 1967 makes 125-200 bux/week
That would be 892-1427 bux/week in 2014 or 46384-74204/year
That is about the going rate in my part of the woods today depending on experience. So at least Party Chiefs still make what they did in 1967. A good
Chief today needs to know a hell of a lot more today I would think.
Of course I was like 3 years old in 1967 so don't know much
about what one had to know to be a good Chief back then.
The sad thing is some party chiefs and field people still make that! That is a complicated issue altogether.
I hope that our profession has risen above this assessment in the last 47 years
