"[When I arrived] to my dismay, I found that some of the members were armed with crude weapons, ready to fight each other," Mr Kertich explained. "I asked them to be peaceful and wait for just a few hours while I surveyed the site."

OK, I'm going to need some help clearing this line, now you guys take these machetes' and,
HEY, HEY CUT THAT OUT!

:coffee:

Dang...he's the TDD of Kenya. The time quoted was....well....TDD'ish. Now, for the record, did he drink any water?...:)

Thanks for sharing!

Am I understanding this correctly, he used a handheld to locate, divide and stakeout the property corners for the 128 AC tract of land? I guess with the accuracy of some being sub-meter, whats three feet when people are trying to kill each other over. Interesting read.

That story supports what many people think about surveying already. Surveying 128 acres takes about half an hour and an 18-lot subdivision takes about half a day.
