Get out the 0.04' finder ..............

Pushed by its neighbor to the north, Indiana has finally agreed to spend money to find out where the Hoosier state officially begins and Michigan ends.

almost $10,000 per mile?

Wow, I know it will be a difficult job, but all of Michigan has been undergoing a re-monumentation program. If I remember correctly the border has 105 mile post and a million dollar budget. I think I could spend the next 5 or 6 years working as a solo and get it all done for them.

Here is a interesting read about the history of the line. Michigan lost land to Ohio and Indiana, but gained the UP.
