I found a water line today.....

The only way that story could have been better was if you had been setting a pipe to mark the corner. When a pipe punctures a line, the water shoots up out of the pipe like a fountain. The effect is memorable.

In our village, another surveyor hit an electric line (supposed to be down 54") and had to pay for it.

Moral of story .............
