Hi,
I will have the instrument tomorrow at my hands and trying to figure out today what will I need to accomplish this task?, I have TBC and TGO, dada transfer, is it possible to do the transfer straight into the total station ? It seems like I will have to convert my *.csv into M5 or REC500 file formats and this might be the problem because I do not have data converter. But I can import the file into TBC and TGO.
Thank you

I don't know if this will work, but when I send .csv files to Matt for upload to his Trimble R8, they must be formatted like this:

Yuriy,

If you open both files (yours & mine) in NOTEPAD, you will see the difference (description in quotes).

You can perform the "conversion" in NOTEPAD (pretty easy), or by writing a simple routine in BASIC.

First I though you did change anything... than noticed the " " :), I am afraid it might be more tricky, each field might need its code or something like that etc.., will see. ( I am in a situation I have to learn new instrument an do a small job involving it in the same day 🙂
