This is why it's best to research the records before commencing the survey.?ÿ Looks like it all has (mostly) one owner now with no streets through it, so it's likely any problems this plat may have caused are no longer problems.

The surveyor's intent is quite clear on that map, though his use of inches and fractional inches is somewhat irregular in my opinion.

What is your survey mission today??ÿ You mention that there is "mostly" one owner.?ÿ Is your client that one owner or one of the other in-holders??ÿ Are you needing to define some individual lot or block corners within the overall plat?

I'm not retracing any of this survey- I just found it in the records while I was searching for something else. I thought it was interesting that the dimensions were given in inches and fractions (to the 1/64th!). But what I found most surprising is that he names them not with lot numbers but as aliquot parts. There is not normally a 40-foot road between the N?« N?« NE?¬ NW?¬ NE?¬ NE?¬ and the N?« N?« NW?¬ NE?¬ NE?¬ NE?¬.
