I need to open a project created in tgo v1.0. I have done this before, but I do not recall how I did it in tgo 1.63. I can see the project in the project bar but it has a note in the project bar that says "needs update" Thanks, Jon

I just opened a ten year old project and it just said was an older version do I want to update. I said yes and it opened. Do you have the correct project folder selected in your open project dialog.

Man we are getting old, even the coordinates in that file should have died by now.

If you need it I'm sure I have the disk for TGO version 1.0 around here somewhere. I know I have GPSurvey because I still get sick when I think about the $14K I spent for that software

JP I just found an older file and it shows to be a version 1.0 in any case the database file is called TGO_V100.mdb and while is was converting TGO called it a version 1.0 file.

It has been a while but I recall that you can open a project file from an older version of TGO directly in the newer version. The message 'needs update' is telling you that the project database will be updated to the newer version. The older version will be backed up.

Thanks, for all the responses. I think it was just a glitch in my computer. The older projects now open with no problem. Thanks, Jon
