Clearly, it wasn't an odolite, it was the odolite.

They misspelled compass (conpass) in the thingy as well.

Yes I have! The first instrument I owned (circa 1976) was a Nikon NT-2. I bought if used from a guy in the SE somewhere. It was mostly metal and heavy. Excellent for angles! I don't know the specs... probably a 5 second instrument. I had a Beetle mounted on it for a while and then a scope mounted Cubic Precision DM80. I think I still have the Nikon around the house...somewhere!

They are just combining the words old and theodolite together.
