Since you got licensed?
When you solve a whole neighborhood, your first survey may not be a high profit one. Because you invested alot. And did one survey.
Now, you can do the next one way cheaper. Because you may already have it solved. Don't do it "way cheaper". Make a profit. Relax a little. Don't rush, and do it too fast, or the client will think it was easy. Build into the job some thinking time.
I once shared a file with another surveyor. It was a terrible place to work. He took my file, and UNDERCUT my price! Now, he was acting in "party chief" mode, even though he was licensed, and was licensed longer than I was.
Professionals always leave money on the table.?ÿ But not too much.
Don't undercut yourself, or others.

I once did a survey for 75.00. It was 40 acres. It took me less than an hour. I was in "party chief" mode.
I've caught myself falling back to it.
In the past 5 years, I've largely escaped.
I wish I'd escaped years ago.

Charge for value. If your model doesn't allow you to make money at that price take a pass.
We are a recording State. If I'm obeying the law my data will be public within 90 days of setting monuments. All of my jobs are priced stand alone..
