Hope this doesn't get publicized like the 4 corners thing.
Monuments over measurements. In this case, I think it is 1925 Supreme Court monuments.

Hey, it's the 37th Parallel, not the 37°00'00.0" Parallel.

Besides GPS may not exactly match 19th century methods due to datum and other issues.
