i just noticed this. looks like some new functionality has been installed- kewl 🙂
Mark,
Did you notice the whole page of GLO and BLM manuals and books as pdf documents in the Reference Center.
Now they just need to get the Montana notes all copied and online.

Maybe I am not looking hard enough, but I don't see any Field Notes. Even before this beta version of their site I couldn't find any. Why wouldn't they have these available? FYI, am in Florida just doing a quick search.
http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/beta/
It isn't without its problems. I searched some land in Iowa W of 5th PM and it mapped the desired section, but then I clicked on search for documents and it came up with stuff in the 6th PM.
It did work for another section in the same township.
It is also quite frustrating that when you go back to the search page it resets the form to Alabama, blank, blank, blank, ... instead of leaving your last entries.
Kurt-
that's what I was hoping to find- 🙁
I didn't like the navigability of the old glo.mt.gov site, but it was better than nothing.

In Florida...
GLO field notes are on LABINS.
But I bet you already knew that.

In Florida...
Yeah, just wanted to see what was available on the GLO site.
